Forgotten RemembrancesFORGOTTEN REMEMBERANCES “Get dressed your coming with us”, being only seven, I did not yet know the meaning of the uniform, as the two men demanded us to do what they said. The men were taking us away, away from my mother. As my sister took me back to get dressed, all I could think of was why, why were we leaving, why us, why now. When we were dressed the men escorted us to the car, I saw my mother sobbing in the back of another car who’s red and blue lights brightened the street with every turn.
